Zumba Kids
These classes are designed exclusively for kids. They are rockin’, high-energy and fitness packed with specially choreographed, kid-friendly routines. Children will enjoy a festive atmosphere where they can have fun dancing and exercising, all at the same time. Children will learn the basic steps to salsa, meringue, cumbia, reggaeton, hip hop and more! These classes will bring many positive effects on children like increasing their ability to focus, self-confidence, boost metabolism and enhance coordination. Children love to move and dance so Zumba is a perfect workout for them. It keeps them moving while having lots of fun!
Yoga
This yoga class provides a great way for your child to unwind after a long school day. In a non-competitive and nurturing environment, your child will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. This class provides a fun filled way to cultivate self-esteem, self confidence and body awareness. Visualization and breathing exercises are used for overall balance and concentration. As well, partner poses and cooperative yoga games inspire positive peer interactions that they are sure to carry into their everyday lives. Yoga style games also refine co-operation and listening skills which are essential for success in school. Our goal is to develop strong minds and bodies while learning to release tension and relax. This helps keep the spirit bright.
Web Design
This activity will ensure that students develop a basic understanding of the creation of an educative and informative web page, as well as the importance of Internet safety. Our goal is to expose students to the positive and productive uses of blogging by allowing them to create their own web page. Students will have the opportunity to present their work to their peers during the final week. Only computer labs which are equipped with firewall technology will be used.
Station-O-Rama
This activity will expose your child to a variety of equipment similar to what they are exposed to during a regular physical education class. Our goal is to work on being active and develop fundamental skills such as coordination, balance, agility, strength and cardiovascular conditioning one hour at a time. Every station will have stimulating equipment and each activity will focus on gross motor skills which are lead up skills to fundamental sports.
Ultimate Team Sports
This activity is designed for boys and girls who want to improve their skill level while focusing on teamwork and cooperation. Basic concepts will be taught through practice, lead-up games, drills, stations, and scrimmages. We will focus on sports that are non-aggressive (Tchoukball, Kinball) and we will modify traditional sports like Soccer and basketball to be less invasive and thus more enjoyable for all skill levels! All sessions will be taught by a qualified Physical Education Specialist.

Power Hour
This activity will expose your child to a variety of low organization games. Our goal is to work on being active and develop fundamental skills such as coordination, balance, agility, strength and cardiovascular conditioning one hour at a time. These skills will help them academically as well. Children will be active for the whole hour doing motor development activities, lead-up games, and fun fitness stations. Perfect for students who prefer games over sports but still want to be active. If your child wants to be physically active for a whole hour this “Power Hour” is for them!

Dance Hip Hop
If you like to watch music videos and try to imitate those funky dance moves, then this activity is for you. This class is meant to get you moving while grooving to the beat of HIP HOP music. Learn new dance moves and get a great work out while doing so. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer this class is for everyone. Students will love our experienced and energetic teacher.
Scrapbooking
Does your child scrapbook or want to start scrapbooking, but does not know how? This activity is perfect for them! Students will learn the basics of scrapbooking while using really cool cutting and trimming tools to make their pages. Each child will be given a special scrapbook package to get them started on their very own scrapbook project. A qualified scrapbooking consultant will teach this class. All materials for this class will be provided. All you need is pictures. Perfect for beginners or for those who already have scrapbooking experience.
Korean Karate
Korean Karate is a great martial art for girls and boys of all ages. It is a discipline where children can have fun learning basic kicking techniques and interact with other children that have similar interests. This sport offers children the chance to collectively improve their concentration skills, listening skills, social skills, and most importantly their disciplinary skills. With a qualified martial art instructor/ Physical Education teacher as their leader, children will learn beneficial karate skills and interact with other children in a positive, disciplined way!
